Even though our
physical body is limited, our true nature opens us to the limitless, to
that beyond our birth and death, to a wholeness and indivisibility with
all things. Celebrating this timeless understanding Chuang Tzu wrote of
the true men and women of old, "They slept without dreams and woke without
worries. Easy come, easy go. They took life as it came gladly" because the
Tao includes all things. Let your heart be at peace Watch the turmoil of beings, but contemplate their return. If you don't realize the source, you stumble in confusion and sorrow. When you realise where you come from, you naturally become tolerant, disinterested, amused, kind-hearted as a grandmother, dignified as a king. Immersed in the wonder of the Tao, you can deal with whatever life brings you, and when death comes, you are ready." excerpt from "A PATH WITH HEART" by JACK KORNFIELD |
